Southern Pacific S-12 0-6-0 Switcher. This kit is a remake of the Lobaugh SP switcher with added detail to cab and running board etchings. Drivers are 56" lost wax castings from Brisco center pattern, the drivers are self quartering with a square hole in the center and axles that have a square machined on each end and a threaded hole that holds the driver to the axle with a Allen screw. No special tools needed to quarter the drivers. Low amp draw high torque can motor fits into the boiler and a lost wax firebox casting covers it in the cab. Frame is all new open style with 1/4" bearing slots to be more like the proto type units. Gear box is NWSL mod 6. Price is for engine only, 4 different tenders are priced separately on this site.
